Inquirer Column Praises The Progress Of The Push For Tax Reform

Today (Sunday), Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Andrew Cassel praised the progress that Philadelphia Forward has made in the push for tax reform.

In the column, Mr. Cassel concisely notes how far we have come in recent years and in recent weeks to make tax reform a priority in Philadelphia.  "Stand back a minute and think of where we've come from," he notes.  "A decade ago, the idea of seriously lowering city taxes was basically a fantasy."

Cassel explains how the push for reform has redefined the arguments and notes, "It's no longer just a few think-tank types and newspaper columnists calling taxes a problem; real Philadelphians with stature and clout are taking up the cause."

Cassel concludes his column with this up-beat note, "So let the tax struggle continue; whatever the near-term results, it will make us all winners eventually."  (Full column)
